The GNU Linear Programming Kit (GLPK) package supplies a solver for large scale linear programming (LP) and mixed integer programming (MIP). The GLPK project is hosted at http://www.gnu.org/software/glpk.

On Windows the GLPK version number is hard coded in the dll name. On Linux building and using with other GLPK versions should succeed.
For using this library in your Maven project enter the following repository and dependency in your pom.xml:

The artifact does not include the binary libraries, which have to be installed separately.
When testing with Maven it may be necessary to indicate the installation path of the GLPK for Java shared library (.so or .dll).
